Adding and Editing Landing Pages

Once you have uploaded your book to BookFunnel, you can create a landing page for the book to share with readers.

A landing page can require a reader to provide a valid email address before allowing them to download your book, or not. If you have direct integration on your account and want BookFunnel to add new subscribers to your mailing list automatically, create a page that does collect emails.

Use Italics and Bold Text To Add Emphasis To Your Headings

You can add emphasis to certain words or phrases in your heading1 and heading2.

To use italics, add a * before and after the text in your headings or book description. Italics example:

She *desperately* scanned the horizon.

To bold certain words or phrases, add ** before and after the text. Bold example:

This baby needs a nap **right now**.

(The characters are only shown here to make clear how you should add them to your heading. They will not be displayed on the book page.)

Center Your Headings

To center your heading1 or heading2, use -= at the beginning of your heading and =- at the end. Center example:

-=This heading is now centered!=-

An expired page can always be reactivated in the future.

  2. Click the book title.
  3. Click the Action button next to page you want to expire.

Delete a Page

WAIT! If you delete a landing page, a reader will see an error if they click its link after it has been deleted.

It is better to expire your landing page and add a message to the expired page which points readers to your website or Amazon sales page. Why send them away empty-handed when you could sell them something?!

If you REALLY want to delete your download page:

  1. Click Books on your BookFunnel dashboard.
  2. Click the book title.
  3. Click the Action button next to page you want to delete.
  4. Select Delete Page.
  5. Confirm you want to delete the landing page.
